How does this role fit into the success of our organization?
The Millwork Sales Manager is responsible for developing new millwork business for the company and for managing the current and future sales to his/her assigned customers/accounts. The Millwork Sales Manager will act as the primary communication liaison between the assigned customers, Arauco North America and Arauco operations in North and South America.
This role in our Atlanta office is a hybrid role – three days on site and two days to work from home.
Some of your key responsibilities would include:
- Identify and develop new opportunities for the company in millwork products
- Create and maintain strong business relationships with new and existing customers
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the skills of the Inside Sales Representatives.
- Communicate and negotiate price levels with customers.
- Develop and provide market expertise and knowledge both internally and externally.
- Develop quantifiable objectives and action plans that support the overall strategy of the millwork business unit.
- Act as a liaison between the customer and the manufacturing facilities, providing timely and accurate information to both.
What are we looking for?
- BA/BS degree preferred in business, marketing, or related field is preferred
- 5-10 years experience in sales or marketing roles.
- Building products experience preferred
- Proven results in productivity and profitability improvement.
- Demonstrated effective management skills and techniques (mentoring, developing product knowledge, ability to quote, manage claims effectively)
- Must have ability to make sales presentations (MS PowerPoint experience)
- Must have MS Excel experience (pivot tables, vLookup, etc). Data analysis experience is preferred
- Must be able to travel minimum 30% of the time.
- Ability to implement effective methods to motivate people and achieve results.
- Must be teamwork oriented.
