Summary

The Senior SAP Functional Consultant – Supply Chain is responsible for the implementation and support of SAP solutions in Procurement, Logistics and Distribution transactions in Arauco North America. The Senior Consultant communicates with the business and other internal/external partners to propose, develop, and implement new functionalities. The role involves participation in all steps involved on a project starting with requirements gathering throughout implementation, testing and successful Go-live.

 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Conducts requirements gathering sessions with the business and translates into functional/technical specifications.
  • Configures the system in MM, SD, LE, WM SAP modules
  • Coordinates, executes and supports testing, training and documentation of all changes/enhancements.
  • Participates with the other functional teams to ensure the overall integration of the solutions
  • Provides expertise in using SAP S4 HANA. The position supports all SAP transactions in the area of expertise.
  • Supports End Users troubleshooting and resolving SAP issues of high complexity.
  • Documents issue status and resolution in Arauco ticketing system and other support systems.
  • Documents solutions in knowledge database and follows Arauco procedures and methodology.
  • Liaison with our parent company’s SAP support teams to comply with governance and ensure consistency in design and deployment of the SAP application.
  • Coordinates relationship with SAP consulting companies providing services to Arauco
  • Manages time and assignments independently

 

Requirements  

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in SAP SD, LE, WM and MM modules.
  • Experience in Sales, Procurement and Logistics business flows as well as integration with Finance
  • Project management Experience is a plus
  • Bilingual English- Spanish is a plus
