Production Technician

Compensation: Starting pay rate is $20.60 per hour, which increases to $23.39 per hour after successful completion of your 6-month probationary period! A shift differential of $2 per hour is offered for night shift.

Our Production Teams are the key to our success. As a Production Technician, your role is to work collaboratively with your team to safely produce quality products for our customers. A Production Technician at Arauco will:

• Prioritize safety by being an active participant in our safety culture
• Create a quality product through the effective operations of their assigned area equipment
• Be team-player by communicating effectively with their teammates, collaborating to solve problems, covering team mates for meetings or other conflicts, and building relationships with their team and other operations and maintenance teams
• Help maintain our equipment, to their skill level, alongside our maintenance team – both day to day and on down days
• Identify and solve problems, and share new innovate ideas to improve safety, quality, production, and overall operational effectiveness

  • Computer skills – good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel are an asset
