Now Hiring: Front-End Utility Operator - $20.60 per hour

Looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced industrial environment? Join our team as a Front-End Utility Operator at our mill! This is your opportunity to contribute to a hardworking team while building a rewarding career in the wood products industry.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely operate and manage the dumping of green and dry material trucks.
• Keep the truck dump area clean and organized, including silo bases, rock drops, and truck scales.
• Perform inspections for material leaks and equipment issues, addressing them promptly.
• Handle oven sampling of raw materials and complete tracking paperwork accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness around the facility, including sweeping, blowdowns, and garbage runs.
• Support the team by assisting with additional tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Age: Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience: Prior experience in material handling or working in an industrial/mill environment is an advantage.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift heavy objects, bend, shovel, and stand for extended periods.
• Skills:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and tracking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to Safety: A strong understanding of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to them consistently.
