Arauco North America - is an industry leader in the production and supply of composite wood panels.  The company manufactures a variety of medium density fibreboard (MDF).

Student – Production Worker

May – September 1, 2026

Location: St. Stephen, NB

 

$17.44 an hour - Contract

Position Summary:

Able to perform various duties related to the manufacture of MDF (medium density fibreboard) in both raw and value-added formats.  Assist with inventory control using computerized applications/technologies, and assist with quality control by adhering to and following established specifications/standards.  Will be required to perform various housekeeping duties to maintain the efficiency and safety of the production lines. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift 20-25 lbs
  • Able to work shift work and weekends

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • To qualify for a student position with Arauco, you must have completed at least one year at a recognized post-secondary institution (within the last 12 months) as a full-time student and are returning to post-secondary program full time in the Fall or 5 years working experience.
