This role is located onsite at our St. Stephen, NB manufacturing site and reports into the Sr. Manufacturing HR Manager. We offer a competitive compensation package, ranging between $75,000-$95,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Compensation above this range may be considered for candidates with significant experience or unique qualifications. 

 

What we are looking for:

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
  • HR certification preferred.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and New Brunswick providence-specific laws related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal counsel as needed/required.
  • 3-5 years experience leading HR functions and acting as a primary HR representative
  • SAP SuccessFactors and ADP experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems impacting people, processes, and program issues, along with excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

In this role, you would:

  • Manage and oversee all HR responsibilities and processes for the site.
  • Drive HR practices and objectives that will foster an employee oriented high-performance culture.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, working to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage the hourly work system (position level advancement structure, processes, and consistency).
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
  • Partner with senior business leaders to plan, manage, and deliver corporate and customized people services in support of business objectives.
  • Partner with L&D Team to identify training needs and develop training plans and programs.
  • Evaluate and monitor the success of training programs, and follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Maintain relationships and support local community groups and events.
