Production Worker – 6-month contract

Position Summary:
An experienced production worker who demonstrates analytical thinking, problem solving skills and decision-making abilities. A highly motivated, goal oriented individual with proven ability to adhere to and maintain workplace health and safety initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Performing various duties on our production and finishing lines
- Responsible for quality of the product manufactured, material handling, operation of lift truck, general labour and clean-up
- Arauco is a 24/7 operation; shift work is required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High School diploma plus 5 years work experience
- Post-secondary education preferred
- 2-3 years’ work experience in a production/manufacturing facility
- Works well in a team environment
- Leads and follows all health and safety policies and procedures
- Computer knowledge for machine operator
- Heavy equipment/machine operator experience considered an asset
Hourly rate is $23.64
Term positions do not qualify for benefits.
