Position Summary: The Industrial Mechanic performs daily maintenance activities within the mill in a safe manner. This includes troubleshooting, problem solving, preventive maintenance and other routine maintenance work.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Licensed Industrial Mechanic or equivalent
  • 2 or more years relative work experience servicing equipment
  • 2 or more years in a manufacturing environment
  • Computerized Maintenance Management System - SAP preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of equipment and processes

  • Hourly pay range is $37.82 - $40.28, dependant on License Level and Experience

In this role, you will:

  • Troubleshoot components and systems used to control industrial processes
  • Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
  • Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Install new equipment – Project work
  • Have experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques of equipment related problems
  • Required to work shifts and provide on-call coverage
  • Required to work in and understand our CMMS (SAP)
  • Required to work at heights and in confined spaces
