Summary

Responsibilities:
- Grounds and landscaping
- Spring cleanup – lawn cleaning, sand sweeping, debris removal, and rail-side cleanup.
- Grass cutting, trimming, watering, lawn repair, and seeding.
- Tree and brush removal.
- General site maintenance
- Fence repairs around the property perimeter.
- Asphalt repairs and sand filling as required.
- Install STOP sign at rail line.
- Clean and organize TFL bone yard and scrap wood areas.
- General repairs as assigned.
- Cleaning and pressure washing
- Wash down mill exterior areas.
- Scrape moss and pressure wash BBQ area corners and lamination west side.
- Clean pump house floor.
- Painting and coating
- Paint site structures and safety features as assigned.
- Repair, scrape, wire-brush, stain, and repaint surfaces as required.
- Paint parking lines for maintenance vehicles.
- Complete daily rounds for all equipment in the area and complete preventative maintenance.
- Perform quality inspections and document results.
Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited post secondary program or graduate program as a full-time student and returning to school in the fall.
- Must be available to commence employment no later than May 13th and be able to work through until the last week of August.
- Must have a valid G license.
- Excellent Safety work habits and knowledge, always wearing proper PPE.
- Seeking students with a positive attitude and behaviour.
- The ability to work effectively in a high performing team environment to achieve all departmental and organizational goals.
- Ability to Lift up to 50lbs.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Students must submit their application before April 24, 2026 for consideration. The rate of pay for the position is $18.33 per hour.
