Participates in 11am control room meetings for Technician staff.
Coach operators one on one
key safety/housekeeping reponsibilities:
Leads safety orientations for all staff in TFH area.
Implements and maintains safe work practices for areas owned.
Owns TFH manual for accuracy.
Must be personal lockout certified for TFH/Refining and Drying areas. Responsible for ensuring direct reports to get lockout certified.
Lockout Certifier for your areas
Safety will always be a consideration when planning any events or completing tasks.
Leads housekeeping in TFH/Dryer/Lump separator and Hog areas. This will help to promote a safe and professional work environment
Audits lockout boards. Encourages the use of Lasers.
Owns operational blow down for area and works to reduce fugitive fiber.
Budget responsibilities:
TFH Chemical Budget.
Any contractor costs associated with Operational work in your area.
Manages overtime costs for TFH operations
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
Operating engineer 2nd class provincial certificate.
Extensive knowledge of equipment in TFH/Refining/ Lump separator and Dryer rooms.
