How does this role fit into the success of our organization?  

 

The TFL Business Development Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts, supporting distribution partners and identifying new business opportunities. This role involves collaboration with The TFL Design Manager (DM), Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Premier Prism TFL Distributors to ensure the effective promotion and sale of Arauco’s TFL products. 

 

This position operates out of our Atlanta, GA corporate office and reports to the TFL Design Manager (DM). This role will require travel 50% of the time and will manage accounts along the East Coast. This is a hybrid role – three days on site and two days to work from home.  

 

*Applications from the following states are also eligible for a fully remote role: North Carolina, South Carolina, Arkansas, Michigan, and Illinois. 

 

Some of your responsibilities would include: 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customer accounts and distribution partners. 

  • Travel to distributors to increase brand awareness, provide product training, and act as a design point of contact.  

  • Travel to key customer accounts to develop relationships, deliver presentations, and lead palette refresh discussions.  

  • Follow up on leads for new and existing customers.  

  • Attend industry related design and trade shows to build brand awareness and network with potential customers and distribution partners.  

  • Identify new strategies and processes for increasing TFL product sales in the North America market.  

 

What are we looking for?  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a relevant study.  

  • 5+ years’ experience in business development, sales, or account management or related field. 

  • Ability to travel extensively (50% or more).  

  • Strong ability to build relationships and trust, and to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams 

  • Ability to distinguish colors in order to provide effective design consultations. 

  • Awareness of trends and a passion for design preferred. 

  • Experience in the TFL industry or related fields is a plus!
