This role is onsite at our Duraflake manufacturing site and reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.
What we are looking for:
- 3–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience with a CMMS/EAM system (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo).
- Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills; familiarity with MS Project a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Working knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance and asset management principles.
In this role, you would:
- Lead weekly, monthly and annual maintenance work meetings to review priorities, backlog, and schedule adherence.
- Review and prioritize the maintenance backlog on a weekly basis using SAP. Hold routine backlog management meetings at cadence with area owners.
- Builds and schedules of weekly, monthly and annual maintenance activities.
- Prints and builds work packets for assigned resources.
- Works with stores to ensure all materials are kitted and located for work activities weekly.
- Coordinate and track minor and major planned outage/turnaround activities, including scope, timelines, contractor coordination, and resources
- Helps oversee lockout/tagout procedures, work permits, and safe work practices for scheduled jobs.
- Works with area owners to understand critical priorities within areas of operation to meet the needs of the business.
- Escalate safety-critical or urgent notifications immediately to maintenance and operations leadership.
- Escalate work priorities to the planning group in effort to meet critical needs and dates.
- Monitors monthly maintenance and outage budgets, tracking spends against plan targets.
- Work with site financial and purchasing manager to establish accurate order and material data.
- Ensure maintenance notifications and work requests are properly screened, validated, and prioritized before entering the planning queue.
- Ensure all work orders have proper scope, operations, materials and all order coding is correct before entering the schedule.
- Review maintenance KPIs such as schedule compliance, backlog age, PM completion rates, confirmed technician hours for performance improvement.
- Take on minor areas of work planning responsibilities.
- Designate temporary coverage and maintain continuity of the work process during absences.
